Jamaican Rubbed Chops

+ 4 pork chops, about 3/4 in. thick
+ 2 Tbsp. brown sugar + 1 garlic clove, minced + 1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper + 1/2 tsp. salt + 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg + 1/4 tsp. ground cloves What to do:
1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels; stir together remaining ingredients in small bowl and rub chops on both sides with seasoning mixture. Grill chops over medium-hot coals, turning once, about 8-9 min, until internal temperature on a thermometer reads 145°F, followed by a 3-min. rest time.
